Spider Loc interview
How you doin' man?
I can't complain. I'm blessed. My health is good, my children are doing good, I'm straight.
Are you officially signed to G-Unit now?
Yes sir.
What made you want to sign with them?
To be honest with you, at the point in my life when I was presented with the opportunity, I was desperately seeking a record deal. They happened to be the label at the top of the game and they had an interest in signing me before I could show them any interest in being signed to them. I had no reason to not want to sign with them.
What did they see in you that made them want to sign you?
To sum it up, I can quote 50 Cent: "I see myself all over again. I got to fuck with him."
Do you feel pressure on G-Unit to sell records?
I understand what another might perceive as pressure in this situationI take the energy that the pressure causes but I don't take any pressure. The reason I am where I am is because I perform as if I feel the pressure. I really don't feel the pressure. There is no pressure. I've just been doing me from day one, and doing me has gotten me blessed up to this point, so I just continue to do me. The pressure is on the competition.
What do you bring to the game that other dudes in the West aren't doing right now?
I know how to look at words and see things in words that the person who defined the word didn't even see. And also, 97% of the rappers that succeed anything close to platinum on the West Coast claim to be ex-gang-bangers or active gang-bangers. There hasn't been one yet that actually was actually actively involved in any gang activities prior to them having a deal. There's very, very few. A long time ago I realized before I met any G-Unit members, or anybody else, that the best have truest stories matched up with the best possible talent with poetry. The game has been starving for me years ago and it's just been whatever God felt fit to make the path for me to get here.
When did you get involved in gangs?
Involved is a sketchy word, because I've been involved for a long time. Actively, where even my mother knew that this was what I was doing with my life, was when I was 17.
What did your mother say to you when she found out?
She said all the things you could imagine a mother would say to deter you. What she also did was pray. She spent a lot of time on her knees praying and I know her prayers were highly responsible for keeping me safe through all of the dumb, stupid, ignorant things I did.
What was it about the gangs that made you want to join?
I don't know exactly what it was. I could explain to you from being the youngest, being forced to go to private schools, living in Compton, my father living in South Central, it being my only environment. Going to school in the city bus and just being totally aware of my environment. I was most scared of what gang life was but at the same time it was my greatest desire to be a part of it. I wanted to be a part of it probably worse than the people who try to portray it. It just drew me. The whole aura of it drew me to it.
Is there anything positive you took away from being in gangs?
Not actually positive from being in gangs. I think just because I was fucking with the gang lifestyle it drove me into some negative positions in my life like prison. I had to put my mentality of not taking no bullshit to a degree where I'm able to apply that to other levels in my life. I don't allow the untruth to affect me whatsoever. If I hear statements said to me and it misrepresents something, then it's going to be shortly known to the person I'm communicating with that what they're expressing isn't consistent. Death before dishonor has also become one of my life mottos and that type of involvement that I've been involvement in fucking with the gangs in the streets, I don't know if I've ever had that pressure to adapt to those philosophies from the worst things possible that I've done. The hazards that were always present towards my person have always kept me on a real strong defense. A lot of these people run these streets and have been quite activeknock on wood I ain't never been shot. I've been shot at quite a few times because I've been involved in a few weird situations. My homeboy done died in my arms before I watched him get shot to death. Whatever gift was given to me to be alert and pay attention to my surroundings is a gift. I'm definitely blessed to be out there to have been out in the streets and have a minimal amount of harm come to me.
What do you say to kids who want to get into gangs?
I tell them that for me myself, I understand the desire for you to want to fuck with that, but I learned through experience that the shit was a mistake for many reasons. The main reasons why it was a mistake because a high percentage of the time being a gang member brings you a lot of funeral processions and a lot of incarcerations. The shit just don't add up. Then when you think about the very simplistic idea of being upset with an individual or group of individuals just based on the fact that they parents chose to live in another neighborhood other than yours, and now they're your enemy. That's one of the most ignorant things you could pledge yourself to. It's a mistake that I openly made and it's not one that I neither condone or promote. Whenever you hear me speak on my gang experiences, it's only to speak on my experiences. It's not to give it a "thumbs-up." I might not always give it a "thumbs-down." I can look at some of the most negative things in my life and find the positives in it. So I don't necessarily promote it but I feel like if I can expose it to the point where you can understand it enough than maybe something of what I have to say scares you away then that's good enough for me. I don't want to see no young Black motherfucker fuck their's up over no color. I can't help the fact that I love Blue. I can't help the fact that I got my 'hood tattooed on me. I can't help the fact that I love my homeboys. I can't help the fact that I'm not going to let nobody hurt me. Outside of that, I'm not seeking to hurt nobody.
Are you actively involved today?
I'm not actively involved at all. I'm a rapper.
Are you worried that anything you've done in the past can come back to you now?
I'm not worried a thing under God's blue sky. The only thing I fear is the man that created me. The same way I don't feel no pressure, I don't feel no fear.
A year from now, where will you be?
A year from now I'll be in everybody's CD players, everybody's DVD, and I'll be in everbody's heart. Everybody that listens to rap I believe I'll have a place in their heart.
What does 50 Cent expect of you?
To do the best I can possibly do, because whatever he saw in me was good enough to represent him in front of the world. He just wants the best of that.
If you do a song with Fat Joe or Jadakiss
I won't.
How come?
Because my nigga 50 don't fuck with him. I don't fuck with nobody 50 don't fuck with.
Looking at Game's situation, what happened with Game as far as getting kicked out of G-Unit?
I just believe that he had some confusion going on in his life and he made some unwise decisions at certain times that probably a lot of people could have and would have made if they were in his position. He kind of reaps what he sowed.
Are you worried that could happen to you?
No! That could never happen to me. But I have reaped what I've sown in life. But as far as the G-Unit situation, the way everybody feels, that will never happen with Spider Loc.
Do you have a problem with Game?
I don't have a problem with nobody walking this earth. I'm happy man. My kids are eating man. I'm eating man. I got people concerned about me that I never met. I'm happy.
What are you working on now?
"The Best Kept Secret." That's the title of my album. I'm working on the soundtrack to "Get Rich or Die Tryin," that's gonna be the next G-Unit album. We're doing a mixtape, "Aracknophobia" with Whoo Kid. I'm working all day every day, just working.
What producers are you working with for the album?
I have no idea. I don't have any desire to work with any particular producer. I just want good music. So it don't matter to me as long as the music is right it doesn't matter what his name is.
Who have you worked with so-far?
Da Riffs, Mark Sparks, Sir Jinx, Daryn Vegas
Are you going to start working with Dre?
50's said that there's some Dre tracks available for my project but we haven't made any active moves to get next to him. But more than once 50 has stated to me that they have some Dre tracks that we're going to fuck with.
How did you get your songs on EA Sports games?
I got a message in my phone from Abby saying that she's good friends with Glasses Malone and she wanted to get me on this EA Sports shit. Abby made it happen, she's a hell of a motherfucker. Outside of that, Abby done got a lot of shit cracking for me.
Being on EA Sports is big, because everyone plays those games, not just Hip Hop headswhat can that exposure do for you?
All I know is I'm a John Madden freak. I've been one for years and it's always been a dream of mine to have a song on one of their albums. I know what it means as a consumer and playing the game. I know how many songs have become familiar to me because I've heard them on the game.
Who's your team?
I play with the Eagles. And I can't be fucked with, so all you rappers who think your good with your thumbs put your paper on the ground and get it crackin'!
You have had beefs with Bad Azz and Daz, are you worried about those beefs?
Not one bit! Not one bit am I worried about Bad Azz or Daz. Last week I was at the Vault350 club in downtown Long Beach. I ain't worried about none of that. I fuck with niggas that are Eastside Crip for real. Daz is not no Crip.
Does Daz lie in his rhymes?
I haven't heard Daz rhyme since his very early Death Row days. The only attention I paid to him is when I paid attention to the internet and I saw how he presented himself on there. Let me tell you something homie. If you go to the US Mint, they can spot a counterfeit so fast just because they've been around the real type for so long that a counterfeit doesn't stand a chance. This is where I'm at. Long Beach, Venice, LA, Watts, Compton, Inglewoodif you're from any of those cities and you don't know me, you know somebody that knows me. Daz is irrelevant. If he didn't have a rap deal, he'd be irrelevant in life. I don't even think about Daz. He's a joke.
What about Kurupt?
Man I know Kurupt. I heard recently that him and Daz were reforming as a group. I don't fuck with nobody that fucks with Daz. Kurupt is from Philadelphia. He claims Neighborhood 60's and I fucked with him because he's claiming Neighborhood 6-0. I'm from Neighborhood Crip and people that's from Neighborhood Crip, they're my homies. Kurupt is a rapper from Philadelphia that was accepted by the homies. If in 2050 he wants to get his signals confused and reattach himself to Daz then I don't really have any communication for him. My cousin just happens to fuck with Kurupt. Her name is Gail Gotti. They live under the same roof. That (Kurupt and Daz reuniting) is just a joke to me. I laugh at the fact of him reuniting with Daz.
How did you get connected to Death Row?
There was a cat named Magic from South Central. He shakes and moves in the industry. He owns the Eastside. I've been knowing him since we were young. We shake and move in a lot of the same circles. One of my homies from the 'hood was real close to Magic. One day they were together, Magic has a label named called "Done Deal Records." He had an artist named Eastwood signed to the label. He had a meeting with Suge Knight looking for a label deal for Done Deal Records. My homeboy Big L accompanied Magic to the meeting and my big homie spoke up "you need to meet my little homie." My homie called me and told me where he was at. I shot up there, brought a 16. After I spit that 16 acapella, Suge told me he wanted to do the deal. Based on that initial meeting, we commenced a two-year relationship where he was going to sign me and he never did. He offered me six different deals and I never signed them because I never thought they were adequate. It just never happened. Shortly after, I asked him to remove me from his website because my association with him was going against me in the rap game. I had to meet my G-Unit familyafter I asked him that, blessings took place.
What's your relationship with Suge Knight now?
I speak to him from time-to-time. We chop it up. He gives me advice. When an incident took place two months ago in New York and there was rumors that someone got shot, he called me to make sure I was all right. I've been to his home. Everytime I communicate with him there's no hate. I don't feel nothing negative. When it comes to manhood and G shit, I'm Spider Loc and Suge Knight knows Spider Loc.
When we see Suge Knight portrayed in the media, he's looked at like a monster. Is he as bad as he's portrayed?
I think everybody has a string of niceness in them. As far as the monster they try to paint, I feel he's far from the monster. But I do feel that part of that perception, he's caused that himself.
What do you want to say to everybody out there reading the interview?
Just believe me that I've been preserved for this time and the game's been waiting for a nigga like me. I know all the gaps that need to be filled in. I'm here to fill the gaps and I know what you've been waiting on. Y'all could rest assured. I just got to tell the truth. If it comes out of my mouth, you know it's the truth. Even if it embarrasses me. When you hear me spit, it's the truth no matter what light it may put me in. If it comes out of my mouth it's the truth.

Chart king 50 Cent spends week four at Billboard's No. 1
It's good to be the king, and 50 Cent clearly knows the feeling at least when it comes to record sales. According to SoundScan figures released most valuable playa climbs once again to the top of next week's Billboard heap, where he's been looking down at the rest of the record industry for the four weeks since 'The Massacre' hit the streets.
50's latest sold more than 325,000 copies during a week of heavy retail activity, pushing the MC's second LP well beyond the 2.5 million mark.
March has been a good month for 50. Not only has his album outrun the competition, he also became the first artist in more than 40 years to score four simultaneous top-10 hits on Billboard's singles chart last week, with his tracks 'Candy Shop' and 'Disco Inferno' as well as his guest appearances on the Game's 'Hate It or Love It' and 'How We Do.' The Beatles were the last act to pull off such a monumental feat.

50 Cent's next single is "Just a lil Bit"
It hasn't even been a month and 50 Cent's Massacre is still striking the charts. Fifty's next single will be Just a lil bit. Many thought the next single would be Outta Control, but as 50 was spotted on several places, he said the next one is Just a lil bit. Expect the video to come soon, no word on when.

50 Cent's reign as Billboard king continues
For the third straight week, 50's 'The Massacre' will claim Billboard's proverbial pole position, according to SoundScan figures. The album, 50's follow-up to 2003's 'Get Rich or Die Tryin',' sold more than 364,000 copies, for a three-week total of almost 2.3 million units. Despite a sales plummet of more than 50 percent, 'The Massacre' maintains its place at the top of the charts, begging the obvious question: Can 50 Cent be stopped?
According to next week's sales tally, not anytime soon. The combined musical might of U2, Gwen Stefani, Lindsay Lohan, Nelly, Snoop Dogg, Destiny's Child, Good Charlotte and Ashanti, in the form of 'Now That's What I Call Music! Volume 18,' will prove itself to be the strapping rapper's toughest opponent with first-week retail scans of nearly 339,000. But in the end, Now 18's still no match for the likes of 50.
Former G-Unit foot soldier the Game's 'The Documentary' slides two spots to #5, with more than 67,000 records flying from retail shelves.

Game movie debut coming this summer
With a lineup like one the G-Unit has, 50 can't be the only doughboy, so after his breakup and makeup with the crew, the Game is on his way to the silver screen.
Game's movie debut, "The Millionaire Boys Club," is expected out this summer, and hopes to follow that up with a role opposite an Oscar winner.
"The Millionaire Boys Club" is loosely based on the Compton, California, native's life and was written and directed by Cess Silvera of the cult indie film "Shottas," which featured Wyclef Jean and Tyson Beckford. Along with Game (playing himself under the name "G"), Bryce Wilson of "Beauty Shop" and Michael K. Williams of "The Wire" also have lead roles. And not to be outdone by 50's sexy "Candy Shop" video (see "50 Cent Renames LP, Makes Video For Sexy Song 'Candy Shop' "), "G" shares a super sexy love scene with Shari Headley.
"She was in 'The Johnson Family Vacation,' and before that it was 'Coming to America,' " Game explained. "She was real, real, real, real fun to work with. It was my first sex scene. It wasn't real sensual, it was kind of rough and rugged."
To follow up his "Boys" debut, the Left Coast rapper is in talks to co-star with Oscar winner Hilary Swank in a horror film titled "The Reaping" in which a woman who debunks supernatural occurrences (Swank) goes to a small Texas town to investigate what appear to be biblical plagues.
As for that little misunderstanding with 50, it was "not really a remarriage but a kind of a parting ways and settling our differences" thing, Game explained (see "50 Cent And The Game Call A Truce"). "I'm still going my way. It's still Aftermath. I'm working on blowing my imprint [Black Wall Street] up, and I've got the help of [Interscope boss] Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre with that."

Young Buck's court date pushed back
Young Buck's court date in connection with a scuffle at the Vibe Awards has been pushed back by a month.
Buck's day in court was set for yesterday (March 18), but it has now been continued to April 18th, when a preliminary hearing will also be scheduled.
Young Buck, real name David Brown, has pleaded not guilty to attacking Jimmy James Johnson with a knife at the Santa Monica, California, awards ceremony in November 2004.
Brown allegedly attacked Johnson when the latter punched rap icon Dr. Dre after he refused to sign an autograph.
Buck, who is free on bail, faces an eight-year jail sentence if he's convicted.

Young Buck's birthday party gets out of hand
(March 15), Young Buck of G-Unit was supposed to perform at a local Nashville club in celebration of his birthday, but the party ended abruptly when revelers unable to get in the venue rushed the doors.
According to reports, about 700 people were outside of The Trap club and on-site security, which was armed, was unable to manage the situation. Roughly 30 officers responded to a request for help.
The result was three arrests on minor offenses and no reported injuries.
According to the Associated Press, police appealed to Buck for assistance in controlling the unruly crowd, but he reported refused. The rapper never did perform.
Young Buck, a native of Nashville, still faces assault charges related to an alleged stabbing at the VIBE Awards in November.

50 Cent, The Game, Jadakiss, and Fat Joe Invited To Rumble At Fight Klub
Monday Night Fight Klub announced that it will host the "Battle of Four" if 50 Cent, Jadakiss, The Game and Fat Joe agree to participate.
Fight Klub, the underground emcee battle, proposes to amicably end the present beef by organizing a battle between the aforementioned feuding rappers. Borrowing a boxing match formula, the contestants would lyrically spar in front of a crowd for a grand prize of $1 million dollars. 50, Jada, Game and Joe have yet to agree to the battle.
Monday Night Fight Klub often provides a stage for upstart artists to gain exposure. Jin previously won a $50,000 battle at Fight Klub while Remy Ma's buzz grew bigger when she defeated Lady Luck twice at the event and won a $20,000

The Game And 50 Hold Press Conference Today To End Dispute
50 Cent, The Game and their respective camps have decided to lay their beef to rest and will make a formal announcement at a press conference today (March 9). This morning The Game called into Hot 97 with Angie Martinez to reveal the plans.
"Its going to be a positive thing for both sides," said Game. I think its so much bigger being that the date is March 9 [Biggie Smalls death date]. Im def doing to do what I got to do...[to be] on a positive note.
The two will hold the press conference today, coincidentally on the same day Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace was gunned down.
The dispute will be resolved at the Schomburg Center For Research in Black Culture in Harlem, New York at 2:00 pm.
50 Cent will also announce the launch a new foundation, the G-Unity Foundation, which 50 claims will "help people overcome obstacles and make a change for the better in their lives."
I realized that if Im going to be effective at that, I have to overcome some of my own," 50 Cent said in a statement today (March 9). Game and I need to set an example in the community.
Both artists will make charitable donations to the Boys Choir of Harlem and the Compton Unified School District Music Program.
The combined donations are aimed at helping the The Harlem Boys Choir Academy reach their fundraising goal to receive a matching grant.
Slightly over a week ago, 50 Cent booted Game from his G-Unit camp and the ensuing friction resulted in a man affiliated with Game's Black Wall Street label getting shot outside of Hot 97's.
Since, 50 has relaxed his views and extended an olive branch to his former protge.
Game said that the press conference was such a pressing matter than he was ushered to New York in a private jet.
I see this as a real opportunity to show the power of our community," Game added. "50 and I are proving that real situations and real problems can be solved with real talk. This can also be seen as a big step for my organization, Black Wall Street, in terms of making a difference. Maybe we can help save some livesthe way rap music saved mine.
In related news, 50 Cents album The Massacre is expected to take the #1 slot on Billboard's Top 200 album charts.
The album moved most 1,000,000 copies in the first four days of being released, thanks in part to the publicity the Queen's, New York rapper's album received due to the shooting.

50 CENT PASSES A MILLION
With his second album, 50 Cent has proved beyond all doubt that he's still money make that money. The Massacre formally hit stores last Thursday (2/3), although quite a few stores jumped the gun, putting it out as fast as they could open the boxes. And the five-day total is: 1.15 million. Wow. By the way, that figure was just good enough to make Fitty #1. Kidding.
Eminem remained in spitting distance at #11. (HitsDailyDouble)

50 Cent's numbers are a Massacre
Its been a retail Massacre, all right. Call it thunder-stealing, shade-throwing, or whatever you want, but 50 Cent has crushed all comers in a show of retail force rarely seen these days. His new album, The Massacre (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) has been selling in rapid fire since its release last Thursday (2/3) and at this point looks like it will have easily moved over a million units once the countings done.
Indeed, The Massacres number could potentially move as high as 1.1 or 1.2 million, though its too early to tell. Regardless, 50 Cent is untouchable on this weeks album chart. Who else could do that and find time to excommunicate someone from his or her crew?

50 Cent makes first public comments since shooting incident
In his first public comments since the shooting at Hot 97 on Monday, 50 Cent denied the incident had anything to do with rap battles.
50 appeared with his artist Olivia on BET's '106 & Park' Thursday, the same day his LP 'The Massacre' hit stores. But his new album has been bringing him fewer headlines lately than his record 'Piggy Bank' and his decision to kick the Game out of the G-Unit.
On the show, he once again compared himself to a boxing champ whose title everybody wants. "Where I'm from is aggressive," 50 told the show's hosts. "I was taught to be aggressive, so I say these things."
Later he downplayed the threat of possible violent retaliation resulting from 'Piggy Bank.'
"A lot of things you hear out there is being said for shock value and not really as serious as people make it out to be," said 50, who claimed he was unimpressed with the responses of the MCs he targeted. "The media gets it and they try to do what they can do with it to make money off of it and make it look as bad as possible. But hip-hop has always been competitive, and they should always look forward to us getting back and forth with words."
50 added that now that he's addressed all his issues on 'Piggy Bank,' he's ready to move on. Plus, he pointed out, "beef records don't really sell records. 'In Da Club's sell records."
Before 50's appearance on '106 & Park,' a member of his entourage was arrested on weapons charges in front of the CBS building where the show is taped, CBS News reports, for allegedly carrying a concealed knife.
For an in-depth conversation with 50 and a recap of this week's events, check out 'All Eyes on 50 Cent: The Sequel' Saturday, March 5, at 3 p.m. ET on MTV.

50 Cent: Bulletproof preview the game
Last year, 50 Cent rolled the dice, passing on a lead voice acting role in the hit, "GTA: San Andreas," opting to make his own game instead. "I'm out to destroy the competition and my video game is no different," he crowed. "I plan to shake up the video game world like I did the rap world."
"50 Cent: Bulletproof" follows the rapper through the NYC criminal underworld to uncover an ugly, international conspiracy. 50 Cent will contribute music for the game including freestyle rhymes that players mix in the game's music lab. Expect additional tracks, voices and likenesses of Dr. Dre and other G-Unit members. And expect more screens, video and info on MTV.com's GAMES area launching this spring.

50 Cent cohort shot outside Hot 97
A member of rapper 50 Cent's entourage was shot last night outside the studios of radio station Hot 97 in the West Village, police said.
The rapper was being interviewed live on the air when the shooting happened at about 10 p.m. He had just made the unexpected announcement that he was kicking out his protege The Game from his crew, G-Unit, for being disloyal. 50 Cent was not hurt in the incident, which occurred at the scene of a 2001 shooting involving rapper Lil' Kim's entourage. The trial in that case begins today.
Police said members of 50 Cent's entourage were leaving the building when they encountered a group of what were described as fans outside the station. An argument broke out, and the assailant was among those waiting outside, police said.
The victim, who is from Los Angeles and is in his 20s, was shot in the left leg. He was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan, where his condition was unknown last night.
No arrests had been made.
Michael Lemma, 22, of Fordham in the Bronx, was listening to 50 Cent's interview on a car radio near the station when the shooting broke out. "There were a lot of people out there. All of a sudden I hear a bunch of shots."
The station, at 395 Hudson St., is no stranger to controversy. Earlier this year, a radio personality at the station was reprimanded for airing a song that was widely decried for making light of the tsunami disaster.
At the time of the shooting, 50 Cent was being interviewed by Funkmaster Flex. 50 Cent is promoting his new album, The Massacre, which comes out on Thursday.
During the interview, the rapper made the surprise revelation about The Game. 50 Cent contributed about half the songs appearing on The Game's current album, The Documentary, which recently was No. 1 on the charts.
50 Cent is also involved in a host of high-profile feuds, including the well-publicized dispute with Ja Rule of Hollis. In recent weeks, 50 Cent launched a new feud with rapper Fat Joe of the Bronx and Jadakiss of New York City. 50 Cent criticizes all three rappers in a song, Piggy Bank, on his new album.

Joy Bryant to star opposite 50 Cent in new film
Paramount and MTV Films has tapped Joy Bryant to star opposite 50 Cent in the untitled action-adventure film formerly dubbed 'Locked and Loaded.'
Bryant will portray the love interest of the main character in the film, directed by Jim Sheridan. Shooting's expected to start in the spring. Terence Winter, an executive producer and writer on 'The Sopranos,' is scripting the tale of a drug dealer who turns away from crime to pursue his passion, rap music.
The 50 Cent project is being developed by Interscope Geffen A&M chairman Jimmy Iovine and Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg, who signed a first-lookfirst-look deal with Paramount last year.
MTV Films president Van Toffler, executive VP David Gale and VP Heather Parry are involved in producing capacities, with Paramount senior VP Wendy Japhet overseeing the project for the studio.

G-Unit clones mobbing in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Homicides detectives are investigating a series of recent shootings that they suspect were committed by a new Tulsa, Oklahoma street gang dubbed The G-Unit.
According to News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright, The G-Unit is named after 50 Cent's Rap crew and record label of the same name. Tulsa police says the local G-Unit is modeling themselves after the Queens rapper's gangsta image and is leading to waves of violence. Police also suspects the G-Unit to have been involved in six recent shootings.
According to gang unit chief, Sgt. Van Ellis, his officers first heard of G-Unit's presence in Tulsa 18 months ago six months after 50 released his sextuple platinum debut Get Rich Or Die Trying. Authorities don't know how many members are involved, but strongly feel that more crimes are related to the gang.
"There have been some minor and more violent crimes, assaults, disturbances around school, community events, at schools, and just bad behavior," Ellis revealed.

The Game: "Jay-Z Can Suck My Dick!"
On his first tour through Europe, The Game sparked alot of controvery. Myself and Yash went to the Snoop Dogg & Game show tonight in Amsterdam at the Heineken Music Hall, and it was definitely worth it. Having trouble with the security guards, we weren't able to take any pictures or film the show, but I'm gonna give ya'll a detailed review of what went down.
We got there a little late, missing the beginning of Game's performance. As we entered the arena, Game was on stage with his shirt off, the pants sagging extra hard, and his Aftermath chain shining around his neck. He had a very good stage presence, and a very solid performance overall. After doing Dreams and Church For Thugs, where he already took shots at the likes of Yukmouth, Memphis Bleek, Joe Budden and Murder Inc, he told DJ Quik on the 1's and 2's to stop the music and announced something that could be the start of a huge battle in HipHop. As ya'll saw on here the other day, Jay-Z recorded a little song going at Game on Funk Flex radio show (Hot97). "I got an email from the USA, saying that JayZ been on the radio dissing Game...", Game spoke. "Now I told ya'll I don't take shots at legends, but how many of ya'll think Game should record a diss song for Jay-Z"?, he asked the cheering crowd.
That's when the beat to "How We Do" started, and Game started a little chant that he then repeated about 10 times.
"Ja Rule Can SUCK MY DICK, Ashanti can SUCK MY DICK, Irv Gotti can SUCK MY DICK, Murder Inc can SUCK MY DICK, Joe Budden can SUCK MY DICK, Memphis Bleek can SUCK MY DICK, Beanie Sigel can SUCK MY DICK, Jay-Z can SUCK MY DICK, Rocafella can SUCK MY DICK, if you a hater nigga SUCK MY DICK".
At that point Game was totally pumped up, and went into "How We Do", followed by "Hate It Or Love It". After a little interlude by DJ Quik where they played the beat to "Pitch In On A Party", Game came back to Jay-Z again, visibly even more heated. He ended his set by doing the "Suck My Dick" chant a couple more times, and left the crowd hyped, but shocked at the same time.
Did Game bite off more than he can chew with this one? Will G-Unit ride with him through this beef? This will be interesting to see in the coming weeks. Source http://dubcnn.com/

Jay-Z denies 'The Game's Through' freestyle is aimed at Game
There's commotion over Game this week, as usual but oddly enough, it's not being stirred in L.A., overseas or even in Game's own camp. Jay-Z and Memphis Bleek appeared on New York's Hot 97 Wednesday and downplayed rumors of beef between them and Game, which had been ignited by comments by Bleek and a Jay freestyle on the station on Monday.
During that appearance, Bleek was asked by DJ Funkmaster Flex for his thoughts about Game. Bleek challenged Game to 'put money up in a battle on a street DVD' and, later, Jay let loose a freestyle that many believed took shots at Game. "You saying my name to entertain your crew/ I ain't playing no games, sh--, the game's through/ You can get it broad day on Broadway while 'TRL' taping/ You playing a game you know you can't win/ Quit playing them childish games with grown men."
When the two appeared on the station on Wednesday afternoon, however, a caller asked Jay who the freestyle was directed at. "That wasn't getting at no one," Jay replied. "The rhyme that I said actually was a love letter to summer," he said, making a reference to the fact that his albums have acted as soundtracks for the past eight summers, and summer is going to miss him now that he's retired. Jay was audibly smiling as he made this comment.
Game has never minced words when it came to Memphis Bleek whom he dissed last year on mixtapes but has since come out and said the beef was squashed. He has dismissed speculation that he had some sideways talk for Jay on 'The Documentary.'
In other Game news, the MC has realized his dream of getting closer to Mya: The sultry singer, whom Game raps vividly about on 'Dreams,' appears in the forthcoming video for the song, along with Dr. Dre and USC quarterback Matt Leinart.
Game is currently on tour in Europe with Snoop Dogg, but before he left, the Compton fire-starter filmed two clips, the aforementioned 'Dreams' and 'Hate It or Love It.'
Scheduled to drop first, 'Hate It or Love It' was directed by the Saline Project and also features 50 Cent. Details are scarce, but according to Game's camp, one scene will depict the two G-Unit members as kids.
'Dreams' reportedly finds many of the actions Game raps about in the song, like fantasizing about Mya, brought to life. That clip was directed by Dr. Dre and Phillip Atwell.

The Game addresses namedrops criticism
While 'The Documentary' is already heralded as one of the best offerings of the year, Game took a second to address one point of criticism on his debut namedropping.
While critics and fans have generally agreed the album is extremely cohesive and Game is an incomparable talent, hes been panned for the liberal use of others names like Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Eminem, Eazy-E, Biggie Smalls, Tupac and a number of others.
"All of people [can] say is I do a lot of namedropping. It's called The Documentary. It like me being a Hip-Hop reporter on the first album, shedding light on some of situation I went through, seen, experienced in my short time that I've been signed to Dr. Dre," he reasoned to AllHipHop.com.
Rapper Nas, one legend that gets mentioned on 'The Documentary,' said The Game's approach is healthy for rap in general.
"You have to be a student to be a teacher. He's a pupil and he tells you that. Thats why his name is The Game and I think that is a great look for Hip-Hop," Nas said. On his latest, 'Street's Disciple,' Nas also pays overt homage to several old school rappers including Kool G Rap and Rakim.
Like Nas, others see Game's namedrops as a sign of respect.
"I can appreciate the name drops on the album," said Dynasty Williams, a producer based in New Jersey. "Im not a Game-fanatic, but I like the way he's mentioned Kool G Rap, Eazy-E, Biggie and others, even Serena's people that died in Compton. It shows he's got respect for the past and probably has met a lot off people in a short time in the game."
And Game said, critics may have a point but the nearly 600 thousand units he moved in one week speak volumes.
"People [are] still buying the album. They appreciate it. What about the dudes that ain't dropping the names that cant sell records? I rather drop names and sell records," The Game said sternly.

Eminem, 50 Cent, Linkin Park eyeing tour?
After a year when no stadium tours were on the road, very preliminary talks are underway for a monster stadium-level package that would include Eminem, 50 Cent, Linkin Park, and at least one other rock act, sources tell Billboard.com.
Rumblings of a potential Em/50 tour were bouncing around late in 2004), and now the concept seems to have expanded. The agent for both artists at the William Morris Agency could not be reached for comment.
Given the multi-platinum status of all three acts, plus the fact that 50 Cent and Eminem have been noticeably absent from the North American touring marketplace, the tour would likely be one of the most lucrative treks of the year.
In 2004, Linkin Park grossed more than $35 million, 15th among all touring acts, according to Billboard Boxscore.

THE GAME After only one day on the shelves sold 400,000
After only one day on the shelves, the Game reportedly sold roughly 400,000 copies of his debut album The Documentary, released Tuesday (Jan. 18). While official figures won't be available until Nielsen Soundscan numbers are released next week, The Documentary is expected to exceed 600,000. And Game remains optimistic. "Hopefully, we'll live up to that expectation - 400,000 in one day. I think that's big," the Game told AllHipHop.com. "I don't think no one has sold 400,000 in one day. It's got to be amazing, so hopefully I'm the first one. Ultimately as long as I do the units I'm supposed to do with me Aftermath, G Unit, 50, Dre, I'm good." Under the tutelage of fellow Compton native and Aftermath mentor Dr. Dre, the Game's name has remained on the tips of tongues and Game expects it to stay that way. "I didn't start off trying to beat [anybody's] records in the first week," Game continued. "I just wanted to put out good music, please my fans, longevity."

Young Buck Pleads Not Guilty In Vibe Awards Stabbing
G-Unit rapper Young Buck pleaded not guilty on Friday to a charge of assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a stabbing at November's Vibe Awards.
Buck, whose real name is David Darnell Brown, did not speak during the brief hearing except to tell the judge that he understood he was waiving his right to a preliminary hearing within 10 days. He did not speak to reporters, although he did say to those in attendance, "Young Buck, go buy my album." He is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on February 18.
The rapper, who came to court wearing black jeans, a black shirt and baseball cap, is alleged to have stabbed 26-year-old Los Angeles native Jimmy James Johnson in the aftermath of a fight at the show. Witnesses said that Johnson punched Dr. Dre in the face after the rapper refused to sign an autograph (see "Dr. Dre Attacked, Man Stabbed During Melee At Vibe Awards"). The punch sparked a brawl that was broken up a few minutes later by police using pepper spray. The Vibe Awards continued and aired later in the week, although the incident was edited out.
Johnson pleaded not guilty on Monday to attacking Dre and is due back in court January 26, when a date for a preliminary hearing on assault charges will be set.
Buck, who briefly went into hiding after the incident, faces up to eight years in prison if convicted. He remains free on $500,000 bail. His attorney, Scott Leemon, said, "We entered a plea of not guilty today and we're looking forward to our day in court."
The hearing was held at the Felony Arraignment Division in the Airport Courthouse of Los Angeles Superior Court.
Santa Monica Police are still attempting to identify at two other men seen brandishing knives in video tape of the incident (see "Warrant Issued For Young Buck In Vibe Awards Stabbing").

50 Cent's sticky new single, 'Candy Shop,' hits the streets
Just call 50 Cent 'Big Willy' as in Willy Wonka from 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.' The official first single from the G-Unit captain's forthcoming album, 'St. Valentine's Day Massacre', is called 'Candy Shop,' and on the record, he's dripping with sweat and giving the girls a sweet tooth.
'Candy Shop' is a mid-tempo dancefloor track produced by Dr. Dre, and features Olivia the only female G-Unit member going back and forth with 50 on the chorus. The Queens MC says, "I'll take you to the candy shop/ I'll let you lick the lollipop/ Go ahead girl, don't you stop/ Keep going till you hit the spot."
"I'll take you to the candy shop/ One taste of what I got," she sings back. "I'll make you spend all you got/ Keep going till you hit the spot."
Admittedly, 50 is trying to get seductive on the track and isn't shy rapping about his antics.
Some lucky radio DJs already have a copy of 'Candy Shop,' but you're guaranteed to hear it by copping G-Unit Radio, Part 10: 2050 (Before the Massacre), the new mixtape from 50's DJ, Whoo Kid. 'Disco Inferno,' another track from 50's new set, was leaked a few weeks ago and is already heavy in the clubs.
50 is shooting the video for 'Candy Shop' this week in Los Angeles. 'St. Valentine's Day Massacre' is scheduled to drop on March 8.

The Game's 'The Documentary' weekend update
'The Documentary' boasts the chart-climbing single "How We Do," featuring 50 Cent. The track currently stands at No. 11 on The Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Adding to the buzz is the Game's pre-Aftermath album, 'Untold Story,' on Get Low, which sits at No. 23 on Top Independent Albums.
'The Documentary' will log somewhere between 200,000-300,000 units nationally its first week, predicted Saeed Crumpler, the urban buyer for Rasputin's music store in California's Bay Area.
A DVD that tells his story is also part of a limited-edition collector's package, of which 200,000 copies will be available at retail. The Game will be featured in a print campaign on behalf of the Sean John clothing line, which is held by Seam "P. Diddy" Combs. It is said to tentatively kick off next month. Then there is the rapper's first-time acting stint in the forthcoming theatrical film 'Millionaire Boys' Club.' The independent movie, which he is putting together himself, also features Michael Williams. The Game is currently shopping for a distributor.

50 Cent brings 'St. Valentines Day Massacre' to SPIN magazine
Hes a changed man. Thats what we thought when 50 played a few tracks from his upcoming album for the staff at SPIN magazine last night. He even said it. For 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin' he was talking about life in his hoodthat was all he knew. Now after getting off his block, traveling the world and meeting all types of people he looks back and questions if some of his thinking back then made any sense.
Sure, theres enough gun talk and disses to satisfy his most loyal devotees, but hes also decided to make a lot of tracks for the ladies. More romance (or to put it plainlymore sex), more love, thats just what hip hop ordered. Not that theres not a ***** or ho track in the lot, but according to 50 thats not what his grandma wants to hear. The gun talk scares her, and well we all understand why she wouldnt feel the misogyny. So for her and other grandmothers out there, theres a praise-God track, including shout outs to the Queens-based minister Floyd Flake and Atlantas T.D. Jakes and Creflo Dollar. God put a smile on my face, 50 croons. Yeah, he croons. And if his track with Stevie Wonder makes the final cut, youll hear it too.
One of his most inventive tracks is a one-sided conversation between heroin and a woman. He plays the role of the drug and documents his relationship with the likes of Frankie Lymon, Ozzy Osbourne, Jimi Hendrix, and other such great musicians who fell prey to its allure. But his clever word play and adroitness in stitching metaphors together comes across most on party tracks, when hes just playing and having fun. As a person, Curtis Jackson has grown, and therefore, the artist 50 Cent has too. Hopefully when 'St. Valentines Day Massacre' reaches retailers' shelves in March, well all become witness to his transformation.
